Rooibos tea
Unlike other teas, rooibos is a 'new' tea. It has only been produced since the beginning of the 20th century. For this tea, the leaves of the South African fynbos plant are used. In fact, this tea, like the herbal teas, is not really tea. But that does not make it any less delicious.
This amber-coloured drink has a unique mildly sweet taste and is particularly popular with those who prefer not to drink drinks containing caffeine. This makes it suitable for drinking in the evening, for example. In addition, rooibos is often used to treat skin problems such as acne or eczema and allergic reactions in the respiratory tract such as hay fever.
At tastea, we also like to use it as a flavouring in our Energy Boost, BAE Sweet and Pina Colada. There we combine it with the sweet flavours of coconut, pineapple and orange. You will be surprised by its fresh and powerful taste that will put you in the mood for a productive day at work, a sizzling beach party or a romantic evening with your loved one.
